Dog Training Collar with Remote 1000m- Bricodil BCD4721

I was a bit sceptical at first but honestly this collar has made walks so much calmer. The 1000m range is more than enough for the big park near me, and I usually just use the beep which works a treat. Charged it once and it’s still going strong after 3 weeks.

Got this for my lab who tends to run off chasing birds. The vibration mode is enough to get his attention without needing the higher levels. It feels sturdy, the strap adjusts well, and it arrived in tidy packaging. Definitely feels like a safe and useful bit of kit.

Collar fits my small spaniel nicely, not too bulky. I like that it’s waterproof as he’s always in puddles. Haven’t had to recharge yet and it’s been over a month, so the battery life seems excellent.

Delivery was quick (came in two days). Easy to set up, the instructions were straightforward. I’ve only used beep and vibration so far and already seeing better recall in the garden. Really good to know there are different levels depending on the dog’s temperament.

The remote feels comfortable in the hand, not too heavy. The buttons are clear and simple to use, even when I’m wearing gloves. I tested the shock on the lowest level and it’s very mild – reassuring as I didn’t want anything harsh. Mostly stick to vibration though.

I was looking for something that could handle both my husky and my smaller terrier. This works for both, which surprised me. The adjustable settings make it very flexible. Also like that the receiver is waterproof – no worries when they dash through wet grass.

After trying cheaper collars that kept running out of charge, I can say the battery life here is miles better. The receiver hasn’t needed topping up for weeks. My dog’s recall has improved so much that I barely need to press the button anymore.

Noticed the build quality straight away, doesn’t feel flimsy. The strap is solid and sits comfortably on my shepherd. The remote range is massive – haven’t tested the full 1000m but it easily covers the local football field.

For the price I think it’s very fair. My dog is stubborn and strong, but even the beep mode gets his attention. I like having the option to go up levels if needed, but haven’t gone past vibration yet. Arrived well packed, no issues.

I’m not usually one to write reviews but this deserves it. My collie used to bolt at the park and it was stressful. Now I can stop him with a quick vibration, no shouting across fields. It feels more humane as I can set it very low.

Compact, simple, and it works. Fits my cockapoo nicely, the collar isn’t too heavy. Remote battery has lasted nearly a month so far. Charging is just via USB which is handy.

This has given me much more confidence letting my dog off lead. He responds instantly to the beep now. Even in light rain it worked perfectly, so the waterproof claim holds up. Honestly, just makes training that bit easier without constant frustration.
