Really impressed with the picture quality. The HD footage shows every feather, and I’ve had some lovely photos of robins and blue tits already. The app connection was simple and worked first time on my iPhone.

Bought this as a gift for my dad who loves his garden birds. He set it up within half an hour using the strap, no drilling needed. He’s been sending us clips of sparrows feeding, and the detail is brilliant.

The solar panel makes such a difference. I’ve had it running for weeks now without needing to charge manually. Even with our grey UK weather it seems to hold up fine.

Delivery was quick, and the packaging was neat and sturdy. I like that the camera is weatherproof because ours is out in the garden all year. The PIR sensor is sensitive enough to catch the smaller birds, which is exactly what I wanted.

I wasn’t sure how well it would work at night, but the infrared gives a clear enough picture to see activity after dusk. Not colour of course, but still sharp black and white. Nice bonus feature.

It’s been raining non-stop here and the birdhouse camera hasn’t skipped a beat. The IP65 rating seems genuine. I check the app most mornings with a cup of tea and it’s become part of my routine.

As a keen photographer I wanted something that wouldn’t disturb the birds. This does the job perfectly. The 24MP still shots are clear and crisp, and I can review them on the app straight away.
